But last few times I hired them it was clear their only intention was to falsify their invoices and only collect money. Hired them several times for many different appliance repairs. This company was referred to me by a friend.
They also claim they have recordings of calls and said they would go back and listen to what was requested but when I called to follow up on what the individual I spoke to said they were unable to locate that phone recording! It feels close to a scam or at a minimum trying to take advantage of consumers. They even acknowledge it was not what we requested but say we still owe them money. When I called the company to ask why this service was performed, all they could say was that they don't offer the original service we requested but we still owed the $125 for the completely unrelated service they claim they provided.
The company then called and said they had performed the service (that we didn't request) and that we owed them $125. Nobody was home to even verify they came. Rather than clarifying that they do not offer that service, the company sent a technician to our house and performed another completely unrelated service to our HVAC system. We called and requested a very specific HVAC duct cleaning service.
